You supply your music and your design in the configurator, directly with your vinyl or CD. Read below what your files must comply with so you can prepare them well in advance.
Go to the configuratorIn the configurator editor, you design your label and cover, or upload your own artwork. You can see the safe zone and cut line immediately.
Add one file per track and put the songs in the correct order. The configurator keeps track of the playback time per side.
We check your files, delivery time, and availability. Not everything ready yet? You can also supply your files later.
Vinyl has different requirements for your master than streaming or CD. Therefore, have your audio mastered by an engineer who understands vinyl.
The longer a side, the narrower the grooves and the less room for volume and bass. As a guideline: this is how playtime relates to the result. The cutting engineer gets the best out of your master.
Loud and bass-heavy. High frequencies are tempered if necessary.
Good balance between volume and playback time. The engineer will stay as close to your master as possible.
As much music per side as possible. Slightly quieter, with less bass.
Playtime per side for 12" 33 rpm. Heavy bass and loud recordings take up more space. Toward the center of the record, the quality of the high tones decreases.
Upload a separate file for each track, not one file per side. We do not add pauses between tracks unless you indicate this in the notes for the engineer.
Design your label and cover in the configurator. Please keep the following in mind.
Unsure about playback time, cutting, or files? Send your question with the specifications of your release.
We can also get your release into record stores, chains, and webshops. Based on a consultation, for releases where we add value.
